Become a Precinct Committee Person

"The most important job I ever held was that of Precinct Committeeman." -Harry S. Truman

The role of Precinct Committee Person (PC) is at the heart of political party activity. It’s our ground game.

As a PC, you represent the Arizona Democratic party in your precinct. Elections are truly won and lost in precincts and PCs are vital to ensuring Democratic support for Democratic candidates and issues.

PCs are elected during the primary election and serve a two year term. PCs can also be appointed when a vacancy occurs.

Any registered Democrat is eligible to serve in the precinct where he or she lives as long as they are willing to do the work.

The Yavapai County Precinct Leadership Vice-Chair is Llama Habern (llama.habern@gmail.com). Contact her to learn more and find out how to become a Precinct Committee Person
